During the tour, His Excellency the Ambassador met with Egyptian visual artist and researcher Mahri Khalil and visited her art exhibition entitled “Where the Line Rests.” The meeting included an in-depth discussion about the role of art as a universal language that contributes to strengthening communication between peoples, with a focus on the artist’s role as a researcher at the Arab Resource Center for Arts Studies at New York University Abu Dhabi within the Arts Documentation and Archiving Project. Al Zaabi emphasized the importance of investing in culture as a bridge for intercultural dialogue and a fundamental pillar for building sustainable partnerships based on creativity and mutual understanding by spring 2026.
